Many of you will know, that I love fiddling around on the old 'putor and creating digi word art bits and bobs, a while ago I made some ticket digi stamps, which I posted on here as freebies, but after finding two other people trying to pass them off as there own work I decided that was enough and I wasnt going to do anymore. However, I have been working on a few senitments recently that I would love to share with you, so I've decided to put some more on here - everyone is very welcome to take them and make something lovely using them, but please, please remember where they came from, oh and as my lovely Mum says "its nice to say Thank you"! I have one that I will upload and share on Monday as it is featured on my Cutie Pie DT card which will run from Monday, but for now, you might like this one:
I think most of you know how to "save" this type of thing, but if you're not sure, you need to click on the sentiment, this will then enlarge it on your screen, then you should right click and go to "save picture as" you should then select where on your pc you want to save it to. It will save as a PNG file, and you should be able to open it in the likes or WORD, serif page plus etc.
Hope you like it - there are more to come if so!
** To all - have updated this due at a small oversight on my part (the green wiggly line let me down!!), you may wish to download again **
I hope we are all well, very glad its Saturday again, having a bit of a lazy one so far, pity the sun hasnt got its hat on yet today!
Anyway, havent been blogging as much of late, as have been getting pains in the right wrist, which apprently is an R.S.I - I keep telling the hubby its due to bad posture at work and not too much time on the pc at home, hehehe. Have been shopping around for decent gel support thingy but in the meantime Mr Pritt has been looking after me at work - hows this for "whats on your work top" pciture!!!!
onto a card now, and I wanted to make an Easter card for my parents that was a bit more religious than cute - thank you MS doily punch for being so fab xx Hope you like.
Right, sitting here isnt getting my washing machine loaded, so will catch you all later xx
well not me in person, but seeing as the old template doesnt "fit" anymore, it was time for a change! I wanted something fairly "me" (cute, with a bit if quirky!) and I thought this little lovely would fit the bill perfectly. (thank you to Janet at Pink Gem for granting me permission to use her!) I also enjoy making digi ticket stamps - job done! Hope you all like it!!!
Ok, so I may be up stupidly early, but i've lots to do today. Have had a busy old week, with not an awful lot of crafting time. Was a happy Lisa mid week when a parcel arrived from Joanna Sheen which was my mothers day pressie from the hubby - more promarkers, and a pack of elegance satin white card, which is just the bestest thing ever to use with your pro's!
Changing the subject here, if any of you are planning a bit of DIY or Gardening in the foreseeable - Homebase have 20% off this weekend!
Anyway onto a card, and this is one that I made last weekend, but this is the first of me getting time to put it on here!
This adorable LOTV image is coloured with the old pro's, have used a Nellie Snellen die for the frame, and this together with the flowers is cut from Core'dinations whitewashed card, the papers are from stash, made sentiment myself.
Good Morning all! Hope you all enjoyed Mothers Day, yesterday. So its Monday, and that means challenge time again with The Cutie Pie Challenge. This is one i've been looking forward too, as our theme this time is "Think Pink.......with Rabbits" What a perfect challenge for this time of year!
We are sponsored this time by Crafty Emma's Store and Bugaboo (thank you!). Cant wait to see your gorgeous creations for this challenge, click on the link to join in and also check out the other fabby DT cards.
For my DT card I have used this super cute bunny from Digi stamp boutique and cut it "out of the box", the flowers are an X-cut punch, topped with cute buttons, the patterned paper is from Papermania Blueberry Hill, which to this day, remains one of my faves. Printed the sentiment straight onto card stock, I think the the font is called Janda.
Like most kids that grew up in the 70's, I was mad about The Wombles, and I think their "making good use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folk leave behind" ethos may have stayed with me throughout my adult life too, well at least as a crafter anyway. I was mooching around at work a few days ago ( I work in a large DIY store, btw) when I can across a pile of boxes that the Dulux tester pots come into store in, anyway, they were all in good condition, so I grabbed a carry bag full and went home with a big smile on my face. Been having a little play this afternoon, and this is the first creation.....
the "before" shot!
and the "lid" shot - the ribbon was rescued from a broken box of christmas deckies too, so extra womble points there too!
I didnt think it looked too bad for first attempt, what do you think? Any suggestions for the other boxes?
Its challenge day at AUD SENTIMENTS, and this time we want to see a project with a sentiment which represents a song! If you click on the above link you can join in the fun and also check out our wonderful Team A work, I will be back with my card for this challenge next Thursday.
I hope we are all fine and well, havent had much time to get on here for the last few days, have had hubby home.........he seems to require a lot more attention than two kids and the dog rolled into one!

4) I climbed Mount Vesuvius when I was 4mnths pregnant with Megan

7) Favourite Dinner would be a slow roasted Lamb shank, with oooodles of mint sauce
Most of my recent cards have been CP and AS DT work, so have treated myself to a bit of Just 'Cos crafting time, and this is the result:
This is stupidly cute LOTV stamp (blossom?) is coloured with the old pro's and have used my mums watercolour paints for the sky. The circular sentiment is one of Kerry's little beauties. The ribbon, button and paper are from stash and are all mounted onto the trusty swiss dots. The charm was from a set from The Works, it did have a wee face on it, which didnt do a lot for me sooooo "bring on the card candi"
I would like to enter this into these challenges:-
Yep, its week two of the Happy Birthday challenge at :Aud Sentiments challenge blog, so its time for Team B's DT cards, and this is mine! This super cute image is from Bugaboo, who are sponsoring this challenge, the circular sentiment was designed by the lovely Kerry (known, and loved, by many as Pickle), and the bunting was a fab freebie from ellephantastic. I guess I must've been feeling a bit patriotic when coloured this one - Im sure we're going to see a lot of red, white and blue this year!
and this time, we'd like to see you using PEARLS AND SWIRLS on your cards/projects.
We are sponsored this time by:
This is my DT card, I have used the gorgeous Wee Susie.
section view of "friends" sentiment - taken from a section of a c'bug folder
The response to our last, Flower Power challenge, was just amazing, so we do hope to see you all come back again, click on the above link to join in, and also to have a peep my other teamies amazing cards.
I would also like to enter this card into these challenges:
As part of yesterdays post, I was saying that I was waiting for the email to tell me which secondary school Cameron has been given a place at.............well, the email came, and now I am One Happy Little Mum, as we got our first choice (Yay, whooop and do a little happy dance). I was really pleased as it seems to be a much better school then most of the secondary schools in my area. Cameron was his usual laid back, non-plussed self about it all - apparently he only wanted to know so that he could post if on facebook!
This is one of the cards that I have made for my Mum for Mothers Day ( I say one, cos there is still a Grandma card to be made). I may have mentioned it before, but my Mum is fab! She is a brilliant crafter, she knits and crochets as well as card making and scrapbooking, and she is always getting me bits and bobs, like a roll of ribbon here or a few buttons there, so I do hope that she likes this card.
Am waiting for the email to come through that tells me which Secondary school, Cameron has been placedd at for next September - needless to say, I getting bothered every five minutes at the moment, lol!
So its Thursday, and that means its challenge time again with Aud Sentiments. This theme this time is Happy Birthday. We are sponsored by the wonderful Bugaboo! You can join in and have a peep at our wonderful Team A DT cards, on the link above. My card will be here next Thursday xx
